Air to water heat pumps, installed by Donegal's specialists
We replace oil and gas boilers with Ecoforest air to water heat pumps, sized to your home and your existing radiators. Individual SEAI heat pump grants can reach €12,500, and we guide you through the requirements.

Why homeowners choose air to water
Up to €12,500 SEAI grant
The individual heat pump grant can cover a significant share of an eligible upgrade. You apply directly to SEAI, and we guide you and supply the contractor documentation.
Sized to your home, not a standard unit
We assess your heat loss, radiators and hot water use before we spec the system, so it is built for your house.
Ecoforest heat pumps
We are the sole Irish distributor of Ecoforest heat pumps, and run our own training programme on them from our showroom.
How an air to water heat pump heats your home
One outdoor unit, connected to your existing heating and hot water system.
Heat from the outside air
The outdoor unit pulls heat from the air, even in cold or wet weather, and uses it to heat water for your radiators, underfloor heating or hot water cylinder.
Works with your existing radiators
Most homes keep their existing radiators. Where a room needs more heat at the lower flow temperature a heat pump runs at, we upsize that radiator rather than replacing the whole system.
Up to €12,500 back from SEAI
The individual heat pump grant can be worth up to €12,500 on a house or €9,500 on an apartment. You apply directly to SEAI, and we guide you and supply the contractor documentation.

Questions about air to water heat pumps.
Plain answers to the things people ask us most. If yours is not here, just call or send an enquiry.
Older homes can need extra insulation or bigger radiators to get the best from a heat pump. We check your home's heat loss during the free home assessment and tell you straight if any work is needed first.
Sometimes, not always. Heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures than an oil boiler, so a room here or there might need a larger radiator. We assess your existing system before we quote, rather than assuming a full replacement.
A heat pump turns one unit of electricity into three or four units of heat, which usually brings running costs down compared to oil. Your actual saving depends on your home's insulation and how you use it, so we give you a home-specific estimate rather than a general number.
An air to water install is usually a few days' work around the outdoor unit and existing pipework. We talk you through the timeline at the free home assessment, before any work starts.
For an individual heat pump grant, you apply directly to SEAI and wait for approval before work starts. We guide you, provide our registered contractor details and supply the installation documents required for the claim.
